Spiritual Growth Opportunity
Would you like to develop a closer relationship to God? If so, we have a Spiritual Growth Opportunity for you– the Holy Spirit Prayer Group will be meeting for 6 weeks starting on Monday, August 24th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM in the Upper Room at Mary Our Queen (on your left when you enter the church narthex). We will explore fundamentals of Catholic discipleship including Scripture, Sacraments and the Mass.
August 24th and 31st will focus on Meditating on God’s Word. We will read scripture, reflect on it and respond to it. (Note – no class on Sept. 7th)
September 14th and 21st will focus on Reconciliation. Dhttps://moqchurch.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Next-Step-header.pngo you need help understanding this sacrament? We will discuss the healing graces of reconciliation. By understanding sin and learning to make a thorough examination of conscience, you will be able to approach Confession with confidence and freedom.
September 28th and October 5th will help us learn how to get more out of Mass. We will discover how to prepare for Mass, understand the Eucharist more fully, and engage in the liturgy.
