MOQ FINANCIAL REPORT: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025

I would like to thank you for your continued generosity to  Mary Our Queen. Your support makes it possible for us to  do the good work we do every day.

Since my appointment as Pastor, we have accomplished  many significant updates and renovations to our campus—each made possible through your generosity and dedication to our parish community. These projects include the construction of our new Preschool, the complete remodel of all lower-level school classrooms, installation of new school windows, and renovation of the Church’s entrance area. We have also built the outdoor classroom and the grotto, renovated our Blessed Sacrament Chapel, and upgraded our HVAC system—including  new hot water piping for the school and modern heating and cooling systems for the church, cafeteria, and gym. In addition, we replaced the roofing on the Kenny Center and other campus buildings.

Through the purchase and transformation of the property next to our Preschool, we created a new greenspace and playground for our youngest students while also updating the main school playground. Over the summer, we resurfaced the Church parking lot and enhanced the beauty of our campus with new trees and landscaping—thanks in large part to our generous volunteers.

Our Financial Report for July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025 reflects your faithfulness and generosity. We continue to do our best to manage costs and keep tuition affordable, as our largest parish mission remains the education and faith formation of our children—both in our school and through our Religious Education programs.

This year, as we celebrate 60 years of faith and excellence and the incredible honor of being named a 2025 National Blue Ribbon  School, our hearts are filled with gratitude. Our success as a parish and school community is possible because of your faith, generosity, and steadfast commitment.

Looking ahead, one of our top priorities is increasing salaries and benefits for our teachers and staff. Many of our teachers currently earn under $40,000 per year. To retain these dedicated educators—the very heart of our mission—we are committed to providing at least an 8% salary increase, establishing a $40,000 base salary for new teachers.

These milestones remind us of our blessings—but also of our  shared responsibility to sustain what makes Mary Our Queen so special. Tuition for one student is $4,200, while the actual cost to educate a child is $6,160.75—leaving a gap of $1,960.75 that is filled through parish support and your generosity.

With Sunday giving lower this year, your participation is more  important than ever. Your contribution helps bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of education, ensuring that every student continues to benefit from an exceptional Catholic education.

We will soon be sending an appeal letter inviting your continued generosity to support our parish priorities. Together, we can ensure that Mary Our Queen remains a beacon of faith and learning for generations to come.
