God in the life of MOQ Youth and Teens

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to experience the Steubenville Youth Conference last weekend.  Eleven youth and three chaperones gave God a chance to work in their lives. There is nothing more empowering for teens than being surrounded by 3600 other teenagers who share the same love of God. The speakers were outstanding, and the entire atmosphere was so positive and fun! Our youth were able to meet many different people from around the country and deepen their faith with them. The Steubenville Youth Conferences gave our youth opportunity to learn more about and experience their Catholic faith in a high-energy, engaging weekend full of music, speakers, workshops, and liturgical celebrations. Our youth encountered Jesus personally, through Scripture, Sacrament, Masses, Reconciliation, Adoration and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  Here is what some our youth had to say about their experience:

“I came to experience God’s infinite love for me, and that God has a plan for my future.”

“This was my first time at a Steubenville conference and on Saturday night at adoration, I really experienced God in a new way”

“I just wanted to say that it was very empowering and emotional. During adoration, I felt a chill in my body and found I was at peace with my fears, and I felt that I belonged. It was an exciting experience.”

“I encountered new friends and fellow youth who believe in encountering Jesus and felt the power of God in singing” 

“The talks were amazing! I could relate to so much and it helped me tremendously. It was such an amazing experience and I highly recommend it.”

I was spiritually renewed, and my heart was filled with gratitude that our youth were able to have such an indescribable experience.

I am so grateful to all the adults and to all those who financially supported our youth, for without you our youth would not have had this opportunity.  I encourage you to pray for our youth and children daily, and help them encounter Jesus by your love, example, teaching and friendship.
