Endowment Funds

Planning for the Future

An endowment is a donation of money or property where the resulting investment income can be used for a specific purpose. Mary Our Queen has two endowments: the Educational Endowment and the Parish Building and Maintenance Endowment. Your contribution to the endowment is an investment in our future.

MOQ School

Where Faith and Knowledge Meet

The value of a Catholic education is greater than ever before, as it helps our young people learn how to Make Missionary Disciples of Jesus. Mary Our Queen is committed to providing an affordable Catholic education to all families in our community. Tuition covers approximately 50% of the total cost to educate our students, and we rely on the support of the parish to balance our budget. Help us to bridge the gap in the cost to education our children.

Foundation Giving

There are many charitable foundations established to serve and support non-profit organizations. Some examples include the Omaha Community Foundation, The Catholic Foundation, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, and many more. If you have opened an investment account at a charitable foundation, you can direct a grant of a portion of your investment to Mary Our Queen. If you have questions about how to invest in a charitable foundation, please talk with your financial advisor.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is any charitable contribution made during your life or any bequest that takes effect upon your death. Planned gifts can be simple as an outright gift of cash or as sophisticated as a charitable trust that is integrated into a multi-faceted financial and estate plan. While every type of planned gift benefits Mary Our Queen, some also benefit you and your estate through reduction of income and/or estate transfer taxes.
