The Athletic Committee creates and promotes an interest in all phases of athletics among the members of Mary Our Queen. Members aim to develop and foster an appreciation and desire for true sportsmanship and fair play. They also provide adult leadership/coaching that will place the child’s health, safety and athletic development as their first priority. A variety of sports are available: Basketball, Football, Baseball, Volleyball, Soccer, Track and Field.

Soccer Club

The soccer club exists to educate parish youth in the fundamentals of athletic competition in the game of soccer, foster the sport of soccer by upholding the highest standards of the game, protect the interests of its members and their children and above all, provide an athletic program for youth, teaching good sportsmanship, a healthy competitive attitude and especially Christian values. Opportunities for involvement: For parents: board members, assist club in care of the field, coaching either as head coach or assistant. For students: assist in micro programs, setting up fields, refereeing, assisting coaches, field cleanup. Leagues: Micro Soccer (under 6), Youth Soccer (6-15yrs), and Adult Soccer. Men’s Golf League

We have 80 members, including some non-parishioners. We have 10 teams with 8 players on the team. Members normally play every other week. Returning members are given the first choice to be in teams for the next year. If there are any openings left, new members are added.
