Communion to the Homebound

Deacon Bob and Lori Hamilton

Holy Communion is brought to the homebound for short or long term. A priest will visit them on or near the First Friday as well. This is a very rewarding ministry for EMHCs, even as a substitute. If you would like receive Communion or volunteer to distribute communion, please contact us.

Cooking for the Clergy

Abi Berthold

Do you love cooking? Do you have a favorite family recipe that you would like to make for Fr. Marc & Fr. Capadano? Are you a student interested in earning service hours? If so, we invite you to sign up to cook a meal on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Our priests appreciate your healthy meals made with loving hands. Meals can be dropped off at the Parish Office before 5:30 p.m. on the day you select. Thank you for blessing our priests with your home cooked healthy meals.

Funeral Lunches

Funeral Lunches are provided for all who are in Mary Our Queen Parish. The Ladies Guild is Sponsor for this Project. They provide the Lettuce Salad, fruit, desserts, drinks and all supplies for the Lunch. The family is responsible for any main dish that they would like. We do offer help in choosing where and what they would like to order their food. The Ark Angels provide desserts; our contact person is Kelly Seipold. Workers come from the Circles, Catholic Daughters and Helping Hands. Anyone interested in helping with desserts or serving, please contact us.

Hospital Ministry

The Hospital Ministry volunteers visit our Mary Our Queen parishioners in hospitals and extend cheerful and spiritual support. If you wish to have a priest visit or receive the Sacrament of Penance, let our hospital ministers know your request. Our ministers will provide the Sacrament of Eucharist if you desire. Families are encouraged to contact the parish office if you have a family member in the hospital who would like to be visited, and one of our hospital ministers will do so.

Meal Ministry

The mission of the Meal Ministry is to bring dinners, basic yet nutritionally complete, to parishioners who have just been released from the hospital and those needed help with preparing meals. Those who are willing to cook for others, can prepare a complete meal and deliver it locally to parishioners in need. Mary Our Queen seeks new members to assist with providing meals occasionally to our parishioners in need. The commitment is flexible based on the volunteer's availability and the need of the parishioner.
