It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to prepare young men to make ethical choices over their lifetime and achieve their full potential while developing a strong moral character, self-confidence, good citizenship, and personal fitness through fun activities. The values we strive to instill are based on those found in Scout Oath and Law. We provide service to others and encourage service-centered values in young men.

Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts is open to all boys in kindergarten through fifth grade. Sponsored by the MOQ Men’s Club, our local Pack 448 is managed by a volunteer group of MOQ scouting parents. The Cub Scout program focuses on Faith, Family, and Community. Cub Scouts lets kids have fun while teaching them skills that will help them throughout their lives. From the thrill of shooting an arrow to learning how to transform a block of wood into a race car, Cub Scouts is one thrill after another. With a program expertly tailored to match each age in a young child’s life, Cub Scouts learn that even when fun isn’t easy, it’s always an adventure. Recruitment for new cub scouts typically aligns with the start of the school year in August, but families are able to join cub scouts at any time.
