My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Mary Our Queen Legion of Mary will be hosting our  Annual Rosay Walk on Tuesday October 7 at 7pm.  Please join us for an evening of prayer on the Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary as we process  around Mary Our Queen Campus praying the Rosary.  The evening will  conclude with Benediction followed by a reception hosted by Catholic  Daughters.

Thank you for all who joined us for our Tailgate Cookout at St John Vianney last Sunday.  It was an afternoon of Family Fun for our Family of Parishes.  Thank you also to the SJV Knights of Columbus and Mary Martha’s Group who made this event special and for all who donated cakes for the cake walk.

One of the great blessings of our parish school is the opportunity we have to walk with our children not only in the classroom, but also beyond the school day. Mary Our Queen is currently seeking caring and faith-filled individuals to join our Extended Care team. This ministry is a wonderful way to provide our students with a safe, supportive, and joy-filled environment after school.

The hours are flexible, the work is meaningful, and the impact is lasting. Whether you are a retiree looking to stay active, a college student seeking part-time work, or simply someone who loves children and wants to share your faith through service, this could be the perfect opportunity. This position offers a competitive wage of $15.50 per hour, making it both a meaningful and rewarding way to spend your afternoons.

If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to Ashley Rosenthal, our Extended Care Director,  at [email protected] or 402-333-2511.  The information is also located on our school website at moqschool.org. Thank you for prayerfully considering how you might support this important part of our school family.

Unfortunately, the landscape Eagle Scout project in front of the rectory at St John Vianney has been overrun with weeds.  We have tried to weed it over the last two years with little success.  To make things easier for future upkeep, we removed everything including the bushes by the Rectory and had sod installed this week.  This will also be easier for all our volunteers when we mulch our campus in the spring.

Please check out our new Digital Alumni Board at Mary Our Queen in the narthex.  It displays all the graduating classes at Mary Our Queen since our founding 60 years ago.

I am hoping to unveil some exciting news for our Family of Parishes in the near future.  Stay tuned.

Blessed week ahead,

Fr Marc
