Building and Maintenance Committee
The Building and Maintenance Committee is primarily responsible for planning and scheduling the repair or replacement of major parish plant facilities. Our goal is to anticipate large future expenditures so that we can plan for funding instead of being surprised by unexpected situations. The Committee also handles smaller projects to support the overall needs of the parish. We attempt to accomplish some of the projects with volunteer help from parishioners when possible. With that in mind, we would encourage parishioners with building and maintenance trades to let us know if you would be willing to help with specific projects. Trades that are especially helpful are plumbers, electricians, drywall work, carpenters, HVAC technicians, caulking, concrete finishers, painters, and mechanical technicians.

Landscaping Committee
This committee maintains the beauty of our landscape here at Mary our Queen. Currently we are continuing to update the many various landscaped beds on the grounds and parking lot. We plant and maintain the pots out front of the Church and around the Parish Offices as well as apply fresh mulch to the landscaped beds annually. Spring and Fall cleanup of all the perennials, annuals and mulched areas on the Parish property are also included in our duties performed. Volunteers are always welcome.
We are currently looking for someone to head this committee. Please call the parish office for more information.
Fr. Carl Salanitro Visitation Garden
The Visitation Garden provides members and friends of Mary Our Queen an opportunity to memorialize loved ones, celebrate a special date, anniversary or special event. It provides an opportunity to create family memorials. The cost of each brick is $100.00. The fee covers the brick, engraving and placement in the garden. The bricks make wonderful gifts and memorials.
