The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion are essential to the life of the Church.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation brings us back into communion with Christ and his Church when we have gone astray and the Sacrament of Holy Communion nourishes us with the very body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Holy Communion strengthens us to continue our journey as faithful disciples of Christ.

Children who have reached the age of reason (2nd grade) and are already baptized are invited to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

In order to receive First Holy Communion, the child must first have completed First Reconciliation preparation and must have received the Sacrament of First Reconciliation.
